We talk to three companies about their approaches with sports sponsorships as part of their overall marketing strategy. From getting creative with NIL deals to paving the way with professional sponsorships, we’ll get great ideas for ways we can leverage sports sponsorships in new ways. 

Harriet Ayoade is a consumer-centric big-picture marketer who creates first-in-kind enduring strategies that grow businesses. Passionate about human-centered digital experiences, she has successfully developed creative and brand-building initiatives across various industries, including fashion, retail, financial services, and consulting. She is currently Vice President of Marketing at EverWash, an all-in-one business management and revenue-boosting platform for car wash operators.

Jonathan Kierman is a veteran sales, marketing, and operations executive with over 25 years of multi- unit, store operations and marketing experience. A Native New Yorker, who relocated to Arizona while in high school, began his career after graduating from Arizona State University in Macy’s executive training program. Jonathan has worked for multiple national retail brands holding various leadership roles at Famous Footwear, Roundy’s Supermarkets, Catherine’s Plus Sizes, Vera Bradley and Jockey International. Jonathan joined Super Star Car Wash in August 2020 to lead the Sales and Marketing teams. Jonathan’s first job in high school was in a car wash and is thrilled to be back in the car wash industry. An avid runner who aspires to run all 6 World Marathon majors, resides in Phoenix with his wife and family.

Mark Youngworth is Zips’ Chief Marketing Officer with 25+ years of multi-unit marketing experience with leading global brands. Prior to joining ZIPS in 2021, Mark served as Senior Vice President for Ascend Wellness Holdings, leading strategy and brand for a $350M publicly traded multistate cannabis operator. Prior to AWH, He served in senior marketing executive roles across Dunkin’ Brands domestic and international business units including Vice President of Strategy for Dunkin’ Americas and Vice President of Marketing and Operating Systems for Dunkin’ Brands International. Mark started his career at Thomas & Betts Corporation, a leading CPG electrical goods manufacturer where he drove profitable growth across their retail and distributor divisions. At Zips, Mark is focused on all aspects of marketing strategy including brand building, partnerships, digital, promotional planning & execution, customer support and site design to drive consumer acquisition, engagement and retention to profitably grow and scale the business.
